In their latest X (formerly Twitter) post, Supergiant Games announced that Hades 2 has been in early access since May 6, 2024. The developer celebrated this milestone by expressing gratitude to the fans for their support and indicating that they are steadily approaching the game's full release.

Their post states, "It's been incredibly exciting and eye-opening as we've worked to realize the potential so many of you see in our game. Thank you for all your feedback and patience as we get closer to the finish line!"

The original Hades also followed a similar early access path, taking 22 months to reach its full release. However, Supergiant Games aims to bring Hades 2 to full release more quickly, starting with a time-exclusive launch on the Nintendo Switch 2.
