This sequel transports players to the groovy 1970s, three centuries after the events of its predecessor, a time of disco, bell-bottoms, and nascent fax machine technology.
What's the Story?
Three hundred years after the original Cloudsley family mystery, the legend of the Golden Idol persists, albeit as whispers and myths. A diverse group—relic hunters, cultists, and scientists—are drawn to the Idol's potential resurgence. Players, stepping into the shoes of an investigator, must unravel a series of bizarre occurrences linked to the long-lost artifact.
The Rise of the Golden Idol features 20 cases, ranging from unsettling to supernatural. Players will examine evidence, identify culprits, and uncover their motives. Expect a colorful cast of suspects, including suspicious prisoners, eccentric TV personalities, and corporate figures with hidden agendas.
