One More Level, the creative minds behind the acclaimed Ghostrunner series, have recently unveiled a captivating image hinting at their upcoming project, Cyber Slash. Known for their work in the brutal action genre set in cyberpunk realities, One More Level has once again piqued the interest of gamers worldwide. The Ghostrunner series, where precision, agility, and strategic planning are key, has been critically acclaimed. The first game in the series garnered average ratings of 81% and 79%, while its sequel achieved scores of 80% and 76%, reflecting the high praise from both critics and players.
Currently, One More Level is diligently working on two new titles: Cyber Slash and Projekt Swift. The newly released image is believed to be associated with Cyber Slash, as Projekt Swift is slated for a much later release in 2028. Cyber Slash transports players back to the first half of the 19th century, offering a dark and epic reimagining of the Napoleonic era. In this alternate historical setting, players will encounter legendary heroes battling mysterious forces and facing formidable threats. The game promises a challenging and action-packed experience, diverging from the conventional Souls-like mechanics. While parrying and targeting weak points will remain integral to the gameplay, the protagonist will undergo mutations throughout the game, adding a unique twist to the evolution of the character and the narrative.
