Fortnite's Godzilla Collaboration: Leaked Details and Hatsune Miku's Potential Arrival
While the January 17th release of Godzilla in Fortnite has been anticipated, recent leaks have unveiled the full scope of the Monsterverse partnership. An update already deployed by Epic Games contains the content slated for that date, allowing dataminers to reveal exciting details.
Beyond the battle pass Godzilla skin, players can expect a store bundle featuring Mechagodzilla and Kong skins. This bundle will also include unique jetpacks and pickaxes tailored to each character.
A new boss event will launch concurrently on January 17th. One player will transform into a giant Godzilla, wielding atomic breath and other abilities. Players must collaborate to defeat this colossal foe, with the player inflicting the most damage receiving a medallion granting a unique ability.
The Mechagodzilla and Kong bundle's pricing in the Fortnite item shop will be as follows:
- Kong: 1500 V-bucks
- Mechagodzilla: 1800 V-bucks
- Two Pickaxes: 800 V-bucks each
- One Emote: 400 V-bucks
- Two Wraps: 500 V-bucks each
- Complete Bundle: 2800 V-bucks
Separately, the possibility of a Hatsune Miku collaboration is gaining traction. Social media interactions between the official Hatsune Miku account (reporting a missing backpack) and the Fortnite Festival account (confirming possession of the backpack) have fueled speculation. This collaboration could potentially include a Hatsune Miku skin, a stylized pickaxe, a "Miku the Catgirl" skin variant, and even a virtual concert.
