Fields of Mistria, like many farming simulators, includes a fishing minigame. The rarest fish are the Legendary Fish, and this guide details how to catch them all.

Legendary Fish Locations

Four Legendary Fish await discovery in Fields of Mistria. Their rarity is offset by an in-game notification at the start of each day: "A legendary fish is nearby." This alerts you to a potential fishing opportunity.

Remember: Unlocking the Legendary fishing skill (Tier 3, 80 Essences) is crucial. This unlocks their spawning. Catching all four in your first year is unlikely, but prioritize this skill before year two.

Spring – Cherry Fish

The Cherry Fish, a spring-only resident, prefers ponds. The large eastern pond near the city is recommended. Windy weather is key. Focus on small shadows; ignore larger fish. The smaller pond near the Mistria Town Manor House is an alternative.

Summer – Lightning Fish

The Lightning Fish, a summer denizen, requires stormy weather. The Narrows rivers (west of the city) are prime locations, but explore other rivers, including those near the city or your farm. Look for medium-sized shadows.

Fall – Leaf Fish

The Leaf Fish, exclusive to autumn, is found in rivers. The rivers along the Eastern Road are suggested. Windy weather is necessary. Its small size makes it easily overlooked; look for smaller shadows.

Winter – Snow Fish

The Snow Fish, a winter species, appears on snowy days at the beach. Explore both the shoreline and the small western island. Its medium size makes it easier to spot.

Using Legendary Fish

Donate your Legendary Fish to the Museum. Collecting all four unlocks a reward: Fish Wings. Museum progression influences the additional rewards, potentially including furniture, recipes, and treasure chests.
