Tin Man Games has thrilling news for fans of classic dungeon crawls with the addition of Eye of the Dragon to the Fighting Fantasy Classics series. This beloved title is now available across all digital platforms, including Android, iOS, and Steam for both PC and Mac. If you crave the nostalgia of old-school gaming, Eye of the Dragon is your perfect blast from the past.
This Is Its Official Digital Debut!
For the first time since 2010, you can dive into Eye of the Dragon, penned by Ian Livingstone, the co-creator of the series. Originally launched in 2005 during the Wizard Books reboot, this adventure traces its origins back to a mini-adventure featured in Dicing with Dragons. With this digital release, Eye of the Dragon proudly takes its place as the 19th title in the Fighting Fantasy Classics library.
In Eye of the Dragon, you'll navigate a treacherous maze beneath Darkwood Forest, teeming with monsters. Your quest? To survive long enough to claim the Golden Dragon, the most coveted treasure in Allansia. Your adventure begins in a tavern in Fang, where a mysterious stranger offers you a life-changing deal—albeit one that involves sipping a potentially lethal potion.
The dungeon is a labyrinth of peril and riches, featuring deadly traps, magical artifacts, scattered jewels, and numerous creatures eager to snap at your heels. You might even encounter an imprisoned dwarf who could turn out to be more than just another non-player character (NPC).
Eye of the Dragon in Fighting Fantasy Classics Isn’t Just a Static Copy of the Book
Tin Man Games has enhanced the digital version of Eye of the Dragon with a host of player-friendly features. You can choose from adjustable difficulty modes or opt for the Free Read mode to explore without battling. An auto-mapping feature ensures you won’t lose your way in the labyrinth, while unlimited bookmarks and an adventure sheet keep track of your stats and gear effortlessly.
Eye of the Dragon joins other iconic titles in the Fighting Fantasy Classics series, such as The Warlock of Firetop Mountain, Deathtrap Dungeon, Assassins of Allansia, The Port of Peril, Bloodbones, Forest of Doom, House of Hell, and Trial of Champions.
