EA Play Bids Farewell to Two Titles in February 2025
EA Play subscribers should take note: two popular games are departing the service in February 2025. Madden NFL 23 will be removed on February 15th, followed by F1 22 on February 28th. This removal doesn't signify a complete shutdown of the games; online multiplayer functionality will remain active (for now). However, EA Play members should prioritize playing these titles before their removal.
Beyond these departures, there's additional news concerning UFC 3. Its online services are slated to cease operation on February 17th. The game's availability on EA Play after this date remains uncertain, but its core functionality will be significantly impacted.
Games Leaving EA Play:
- Madden NFL 23 – February 15th
- F1 22 – February 28th
While this news may disappoint some, EA Play still offers newer iterations of these franchises. Madden NFL 24, F1 23, and UFC 4 will remain accessible, with the exciting addition of UFC 5 joining the lineup on January 14th. The availability of updated titles helps mitigate the impact of these removals. The removal of games from subscription services is a common occurrence, but the ongoing availability of newer titles within these franchises offers a degree of consolation.
