Dragonkin: The Banished Demo Launches, Major Updates Planned

Eko Software and NACON have exciting news for RPG enthusiasts with the launch of a demo for their action-packed RPG, *Dragonkin: The Banished*. This early access journey kicks off with a demo available now until March 3, 2025, as part of Steam Next Fest. The early access version, set to launch on March 6, 2025, will immerse players in the game's prologue and first chapter, allowing them to explore the narrative through three distinct heroes: the Knight, the Oracle, and the Barbarian. Players will also have the opportunity to team up with four Vermplings—cooperative companions that join in the fight—and engage with the innovative Bloodline Grid skill progression system, partake in endgame hunting quests, and enjoy initial upgrades to the central hub city.

The development team has shared a comprehensive roadmap for the year ahead, packed with ambitious updates. In the spring, players can expect new abilities, enhanced endgame content, a new endgame activity, and improvements to the hub city features. As summer rolls in, the game will introduce a new hero, additional skills, and expanded endgame challenges. By autumn, multiplayer support will be implemented, along with ongoing refinements to the Bloodline Grid and hub city mechanics, ensuring a dynamic and evolving gameplay experience.

In *Dragonkin: The Banished*, players delve into a world tainted by ancient dragon blood, guiding a legendary warrior on a quest to vanquish sinister creatures emerging from the ground and confront the all-powerful Dragonlords behind the chaos. Character growth, equipment upgrades, and Vermpling evolution drive progression, while the strategic Bloodline Grid system offers players the flexibility to customize their abilities according to their playstyle.

*Dragonkin: The Banished* will launch in Steam Early Access on March 6, 2025, with a full release planned for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, promising an engaging and evolving RPG experience.
