A Pokemon GO data mine reveals upcoming Adventure Effects tied to the arrival of Black and White Kyurem in early March 2025's GO Tour: Unova event. These Legendary Pokemon, fusions of Kyurem with Zekrom and Reshiram, will reportedly introduce unique gameplay mechanics.
White Kyurem's "Ice Burn" effect will temporarily slow the target ring during Pokemon encounters, simplifying precise throws for higher catch rates. Conversely, Black Kyurem's "Freeze Shock" will temporarily paralyze the target Pokemon, preventing escapes and improving capture success.
The leak also hints at a new item, the "Lucky Trinket," enabling instant Lucky Friend status with Great Friends or higher. This temporary effect offers a convenient shortcut to securing Lucky Trades, a usually rare occurrence.
Beyond Kyurem, the Steely Resolve event (January 21st) introduces the Corviknight evolution line. Five-star raids will feature Deoxys and Dialga, while Dynamax versions of the Legendary Bird Trio are available in Max Raids from January 20th to February 3rd.
