Once it senses your presence, the Peeper will open, locking your gaze and causing you to lose control of your viewpoint, which zooms in on its eye. This not only disorients you but also inflicts two points of damage per second, although the Peeper is classified as a low-threat monster.

While under the Peeper's hypnotic gaze, your field of view becomes severely limited, making navigation and evasion from other potential threats challenging. The key to escaping its grasp is to break line of sight. Always be mindful of your surroundings, as the Peeper can appear anywhere. Strategically plan your routes to include clear paths for retreat. The most effective tactic is to move around a corner or through a doorway.
