Episode 7: Spire of Shadows unfolds, presenting fresh challenges centered around the Confusion and Distortion mechanics.
Shadow Milk Cookie, a formidable Beast Cookie, unleashes his "Puppet Show" skill, targeting low-HP enemies with periodic damage culminating in a Grand Finale that affects all enemies and applies Taint for increased damage. Even after defeat, he transforms, continuing his puppet attacks.
Candy Apple Cookie utilizes a giant lollipop to crush opponents, reducing their attack and defense while simultaneously creating HP Shields and boosting allied attack. His shattering lollipop shards further amplify enemy damage taken.
The Spire of Shadows storyline incorporates the Confusion and Distortion mechanics from Stage 7-4, increasing damage received by the team while simultaneously enhancing Shadow Milk and Candy Apple Cookies' power. The Domain of Deceit effect, active on select stages, reduces damage taken by these Cookies, adding a strategic layer to battles.
Players will also accompany Pure Vanilla Cookie on his journey to the Spire of All Knowledge, uncovering pivotal memories and secrets that will shape the Cookie World's destiny. Completing this episode unlocks Bear Jelly Balloon expeditions, granting access to Yeast Ore and increased Rainbow Pearls at the Trade Harbor.
A new event, Monster Menace, offers additional rewards such as Soulstones and Beascuits for clearing stages. The Monster Menace Marathon provides bonus rewards even after the event concludes based on stage completion numbers.
