Company of Heroes debuts multiplayer skirmish mode for iOS port

Company of Heroes, the acclaimed World War II real-time strategy (RTS) game from Relic Entertainment and ported by Feral Interactive, is finally getting multiplayer! A recent iOS beta update introduces the highly anticipated skirmish mode.

Relic Entertainment, known for the Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War series, also boasts the popular Company of Heroes franchise. The original mobile version lacked multiplayer, a significant omission now rectified.

The iOS Company of Heroes now features a beta version of online skirmish mode. Players can battle it out as various factions, including the Americans, Germans, British (UK), and Panzer Elite (as featured in the Opposing Fronts expansion).

Company of Heroes cleverly blends realistic warfare with accessible RTS gameplay. Strategic depth is paramount; simply fielding expensive units isn't enough. Poor positioning can quickly lead to devastating losses.
