Black Clover M: Rise of the Wizard King Announces Service Termination
Black Clover M: Rise of the Wizard King has officially announced its end of service today. The game, which saw its global release on November 30, 2023 following a regional soft launch, will be shutting down permanently, concluding its nearly two-year mobile journey.
Service Termination Schedule
The final shutdown is scheduled for August 20, 2025 at 10:00 AM (UTC). All in-app purchases will be disabled starting June 20. However, players can continue using their existing premium currency, battle passes, and purchased packs until the termination date.
The last content update will arrive on June 25, featuring new material inspired by the Black Clover movie "The Magic Emperor's Sword," including two new mage characters from the film.
Black crystals (both premium and free) will become available at significantly reduced exchange rates, priced between 1-10 crystals. New account registration will also cease after the June 25 maintenance.
Refunds for unused premium currency will be available starting August 20 through November 17, 2025. Players will need to provide account details including email address, nickname, account ID, birthdate, and crystal balance for processing. Customer support services will conclude on November 17.
About the Game
This mobile RPG was developed around the popular Black Clover franchise from Shonen Jump and TV Tokyo. The game featured turn-based combat, character collection mechanics, and squad building within the anime's magical universe.
While initially praised for its faithful adaptation of the anime's aesthetics and world-building, the game faced criticism regarding its character progression systems and gacha mechanics. Despite this, the game remains available for download on the Google Play Store until termination.
