Microsoft has revealed which games will be departing from its Xbox Game Pass subscription service on May 15, 2025. A total of eight games are set to leave, including Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Little Kitty, Big City.
Xbox Game Pass is a premier online gaming service available for Xbox and PC platforms. Subscribers can enjoy streaming games directly on smart devices and consoles, access new releases on day one based on their subscription tier, and play from a vast catalog of high-quality games with friends across console, PC, or cloud. The following eight titles are scheduled to be removed from this catalog:
Games leaving Xbox Game Pass in May are:
- Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
- Chants of Sennaar
- Dune: Spice Wars
- Hauntii
- Jurassic World Evolution 2
- Little Kitty, Big City
- Planet of Lana
- The Big Con
Microsoft is poised to unveil Wave 2 of the May 2025 Game Pass lineup as soon as these games are removed from the service.
Earlier this month, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members received a new benefit: the ability to stream select games directly to their consoles without needing to download them. This news was shared via an Xbox Wire post, announcing that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can now stream games from the Game Pass catalog, as well as "select games they own," on their Xbox Series X, S, and Xbox One consoles through cloud streaming. While this feature was previously available on smart TVs, PCs, smartphones, and Meta Quest headsets, this marks its debut on consoles.
If the recent news about Grand Theft Auto 6 being delayed to May 2026 has you eager to dive back into GTA 5, remember that GTA 5 Enhanced is currently available on Xbox Game Pass and Game Pass for PC. This is especially thrilling for PC users, as it marks the first time the game has been included in the PC Game Pass library.
