May 2025 PlayStation Plus Game Catalog Confirmed

Sony has unveiled an exciting lineup of games for the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in May 2025, featuring a diverse selection of titles across various genres. Announced via a detailed PlayStation.Blog post, this month's additions will be available starting May 20, offering PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers a rich gaming experience.

For those subscribed to the Extra tier, May 2025 brings a total of nine new games to the catalog. The highlight is undoubtedly "Sand Land," an action RPG based on the beloved manga by Akira Toriyama, available on both PS4 and PS5. Other notable additions include "Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition" and the comprehensive "S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy," which will be released in an enhanced version for PS5, alongside PC and Xbox Series X|S, on the same day. GSC Game World has confirmed that owners of the original trilogy on consoles will receive this Enhanced Edition at no additional cost, though it remains uncertain whether this benefit extends to PlayStation Plus subscribers.

PlayStation Plus Premium members have their own exclusive addition with "Battle Engine Aquila," a classic sci-fi action game where players control a versatile war vehicle capable of engaging enemies in both aerial and ground combat. This title will be accessible on both PS4 and PS5.
