Mushaf

Mushaf is a free and user-friendly app designed to enhance your Quran reading experience. This electronic Quran app comes with a suite of unique features tailored for reading, listening, and memorizing, making it an ideal tool for both adults and children. It also includes interpretation options to deepen your understanding of the text.

One of the standout features of Mushaf is its built-in Paper Mushaf and Tafsir, allowing you to access these resources offline, without an internet connection. The app boasts an advanced index system that organizes the Quran into parts and Suras, with the added convenience of searchable indexes.

Mushaf offers multiple versions of the Quran, including the Mushaf Al-Madina, Mushaf Al-Tajweed (color-coded according to Tajweed rules), and Mushaf Warsh (Rewayat Warsh An-Nafei'). For auditory learners, the app provides gapless audio playback with recitations from renowned reciters, covering Rewayat Hafs, Warsh, and Qaloon.

Search functionality is robust, allowing you to search through the entire Quran text or within specific Suras. Sharing is made easy with options to share Quran text or images. The app also includes Arabic Tafsir from respected scholars such as Al-Saa'di, Ibn-Katheer, Al-Baghawy, Al-Qortoby, Al-Tabary, and Al-Waseet, along with text translations of the Quran's meanings in English and French.

For those interested in the grammatical structure of the Quran, Mushaf includes E'rab (Grammar) by Qasim Da'aas. The split-screen feature allows you to view the Quran and Tafsir side by side, enhancing your study experience. Navigation is intuitive, with options to switch pages using swipes or volume buttons, and you can easily save bookmarks by swiping the bookmark handle.

Additional features include the ability to keep the screen always on while reading, a night mode for comfortable reading in low light, and the option to convert Quran text with adjustable font sizes. The app syncs recitation with the Aya position on the page, highlighting the Aya as it is recited, and offers the ability to repeat verses. Audio playback continues even when the app is closed, with controls accessible from the notification bar.

App Permissions

Mushaf requires internet access to download necessary content such as recitations, translations, and Quran page images. It also needs access to file storage to save these downloaded contents.
