Application Description

Beyond traditional shogi piece play, "Hasami Shogi (Japanese Chess Scissors)" is an app that also lets you enjoy "Prisoner's Base Shogi" and "Surround Shogi".

● Hasami Shogi Rules

Players are divided into pawn and gold sides. You capture an opponent's piece by sandwiching it.

Victory is achieved by capturing three pieces.

However, due to the nature of Hasami Shogi, games may sometimes reach a stalemate (while design efforts have been made, outcomes can still depend on luck).

● Prisoner's Base Shogi Rules

Players are divided into pawn and gold sides. Move all your pawns into the opponent's 3x3 territory to win. Your pieces can jump over the opponent's.

● Surround Shogi Rules

Players are divided into pawn and gold sides. Capture opponent pieces by sandwiching them, just like in Hasami Shogi. Additionally, you can place pieces within your own territory to surround squares on your board.

The winner is the first to capture six squares on the board or secure three territories.

Every game mode features a CPU opponent with three difficulty levels. You can also play Player versus Player (PvP).
