The 28th annual D.I.C.E. Awards have officially recognized the most outstanding achievements in video gaming from 2024, celebrating excellence across a wide range of categories. Among the many standout titles, *Astro Bot* emerged as the night’s biggest winner, securing Game of the Year honors along with four additional awards: Outstanding Achievement in Animation, Outstanding Technical Achievement, Family Game of the Year, and Outstanding Achievement in Game Design.
Other notable multi-category winners included *Helldivers 2*, which claimed four prestigious awards—Outstanding Achievement in Original Music Composition, Outstanding Achievement in Audio Design, Action Game of the Year, and Online Game of the Year. Additionally, both *Balatro* and *Indiana Jones and the Great Circle* took home three awards each, highlighting their impact on the industry this past year.

Beyond recognizing exceptional games, the D.I.C.E. Awards also honored two influential figures in the gaming industry. The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to the former Executive Vice President of Operations for Nintendo of America, acknowledging his long-standing contributions to the company and his support for the Starlight Children's Foundation. Meanwhile, Ted Price, founder and president of Insomniac Games, was inducted into the Hall of Fame for his decades of leadership at the studio and his advocacy for creators’ rights within the gaming space.
