Carplounge V4 Autopilot

Introducing the Carplounge Autopilot, a groundbreaking system designed to elevate your bait boat experience to new heights. Instead of relying on a traditional remote control, the Carplounge Autopilot integrates seamlessly with your Android tablet or smartphone. The essential software, available for free on the Google Play Store, is compatible with any Android device equipped with Bluetooth. Once connected to the boat via a Bluetooth transmitter box, you can take full command of your bait boat through an intuitive touchscreen interface.

In manual mode, you can navigate your bait boat just as you would with a conventional remote, but with the added advantage of a touchscreen. The app displays the boat's real-time position, route, and orientation on a map, thanks to advanced compass functionality. Moreover, you can pinpoint and save promising fishing spots using the integrated GPS, labeling them for easy reference, such as "jetty left," "spot 1," or "home."

Switch to autopilot mode, and the real magic begins. Here, you can select and sequence multiple points into a customized route, complete with specific actions at each waypoint—open the left or right hatch, activate the release mechanism, or turn on the lights. For instance, you might program your boat to: 1.) Navigate to "Sandbank" and open the right hopper upon arrival; 2.) Proceed to "Spot 2" and open the left hopper; 3.) Return to the fishing spot and signal with a blink. Once programmed, your boat will autonomously follow the route, allowing you to focus on other aspects of your fishing trip. The system can store nearly an infinite number of spots and routes, ensuring precision navigation with state-of-the-art technology like position and acceleration sensors, GPS, and compass, achieving 90% accuracy within 30cm!

The Carplounge Autopilot also cleverly manages line tension when deploying multiple rods to different locations. The onboard electronics detect any tension applied to the lines while the boat is in motion, automatically adjusting the boat's course to counteract it, ensuring a direct path to your chosen targets without unnecessary detours or line bends.

While the Autopilot system replaces the traditional remote control, we understand the value of flexibility. That's why we offer the option to connect a remote control to the Autopilot, allowing you to switch between tablet control and a conventional remote as you see fit.
