Gameplay:

101 Okey is a multi-round game for four players. The goal is to finish with the fewest points. Points are tallied based on the numbers on your remaining tiles (e.g., a red 3 = 3 points, a black 11 = 11 points). The game ends when the tile deck is empty or a player completes their hand.

Game Setup:

The dealer distributes 21 tiles to each player, giving 22 to the player to their right. One tile is left face-up to determine the joker (Okey tile). Play proceeds counter-clockwise. The player with 22 tiles starts by discarding a tile without drawing. Subsequent players either draw a tile from the deck or take the discarded tile.

Opening Your Hand:

To open your hand, you need at least 101 points and must have at least three sets of matching numbers (e.g., black 5, red 5, blue 5) or sequential numbers of the same color (e.g., red 7, 8, 9). Each set requires a minimum of three tiles. You can add to existing sets on the table as long as you have 101 points and can open your hand. If you take a discarded tile, you must use it in a set. If you can’t use it, return it and draw a new tile from the deck (no penalty).

Doubles:

Alternatively, you can open your hand with at least five pairs of matching tiles. Choosing this double method prevents you from opening a normal set in that same game, though you can still add to other players' sets.

Joker (Okey Tile or Riziko):

The joker tile changes each game. Two "fake jokers" are one number higher than the face-up tile. For instance, if a blue 5 is face-up, the two blue 6s are the jokers. These are treated as blue 6s in scoring.
