HOW DOES IT WORK?

It’s simple!

Step 1: Download the app for free and set up your profile.

Step 2: Enter your dates of stay within the European Union.

Step 3: When making a purchase, ask the merchant for a “VAT invoice issued to ZappTax.” Take a photo of your invoices, upload them directly into the app, or email them to [email protected].

Step 4: At the end of your trip, tap to automatically generate your tax-free forms. You will receive one or more refund documents listing all your purchases.

Step 5: Before leaving the EU, validate your forms electronically at customs by scanning the barcode at a self-service kiosk (PABLO device in France and DIVA in Spain) or by showing your passport to a customs officer in Belgium.

And that’s it! ZappTax will process your refund and pay you via your chosen method.
