In the farthest corners of the world, where the essence of magic still thrives, spirits embody the elements of the land and sky. As European colonial powers extend their reach, they inevitably encounter a realm where these spirits reign supreme. Here, the land itself rises in defense, alongside the native inhabitants, in a battle for survival.

Spirit Island is a cooperative settler-destruction strategy game crafted by R. Eric Reuss, set in an alternate history around A.D. 1700. Players take on the roles of different Spirits, each wielding unique elemental powers, tasked with protecting their island from colonizing Invaders who bring blight and destruction. These Spirits collaborate with the native Dahan to bolster their strength and expel the invaders in a strategic area-control game.
