Samsung Notes is your all-in-one solution for creating and editing documents across your mobile, tablet, or PC, and it makes collaboration a breeze. With the power of the S Pen, you can add annotations to PDFs and create rich documents that include images or voice recordings. The app's versatility extends to seamless integration with other applications like PDF, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint, enhancing your productivity.

Ready to start? Simply tap the + icon in the bottom right corner of the main screen to create a new note. These notes will be saved with the "sdocx" extension, ensuring compatibility and easy access across devices.

To keep your notes secure, navigate to the main screen, tap More Options in the upper right corner, select Settings, and then choose Lock Note. Pick your preferred locking method and set a password. To lock individual notes, go to the note you wish to protect, tap More Options, and select Lock Note.

For those who enjoy the personal touch, Samsung Notes lets you create handwritten notes by tapping the Handwriting icon. Your handwriting will appear directly on the note, giving it a unique and personal feel. Adding photos is as easy as tapping the photo icon within your note, allowing you to take new photos or edit existing ones with tags.

Voice recordings can also be incorporated by tapping the Voice Recording icon, enabling you to create notes that include audio. The app provides a variety of writing tools accessible through the Pen icon, offering options like pens, fountain pens, pencils, highlighters, and more, along with customizable colors and thicknesses. Need to erase something? Just tap the Eraser icon to remove unwanted content.

Samsung Notes also supports importing notes and memos created in other apps. Utilize the Smart Switch feature to bring in data from S Note and Memo saved on other devices, or sync with your Samsung account to access previously created notes and memos.

Regarding permissions, Samsung Notes requires access to certain features to function fully. Required permissions include Storage for saving or loading document files. Optional permissions include access to Photos and Videos, Notifications, Music and Audio, Phone, Microphone, and Camera, which enhance the app's capabilities but are not necessary for basic use.
