Its success did not go unnoticed, as Focus Entertainment unexpectedly announced Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3! So far, fans have been treated to a brief teaser, which confirmed the return of the beloved protagonist from the previous games, Demetrian Titus, in the upcoming third installment.
Saber Interactive, the studio behind the highly successful Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, is once again at the helm of development. However, details about the third game are being kept under wraps for now—those will be revealed when the time is right. In the meantime, Space Marine 2 will continue to receive active support, with new co-op missions, a horde mode, and more planned for this year.
Beyond Space Marine 3, Saber Interactive has a robust lineup of projects in development. Recently, it was revealed that the studio is working on an action game set in the fantasy world of Dungeons & Dragons, featuring a wave-based monster system reminiscent of Space Marine 2. Another exciting title in the works is Turok: Origins, promising intense battles against dinosaurs.
It's worth noting that Space Marine 2 was released just in September 2024—only six months ago. In that short span of time, the brutal action game has already attracted over five million players, showcasing its immense popularity and the anticipation for what's next in the series.
