Tom Clancy's The Division 2's sixth year kicks off with its third season, "Burden of Truth," a thrilling chapter that plunges agents into a deeper mystery surrounding Kelso. Players will chase Kelso through Washington, D.C., deciphering her cryptic clues to uncover more about Lau's recruitment methods and the mysterious "Cassandra" mission.
This season significantly enhances combat with the new Rogue Momentum system. Aggression is rewarded; defeating enemies builds momentum, with critical hits, skill combos, multi-kills, and eliminating elite foes providing the biggest boosts. As momentum increases, players gain significant advantages, including faster movement, quicker reloads, amplified damage, and increased firing speed. Reaching peak momentum activates Overcharge, dramatically reducing ability cooldowns, creating exhilarating and dynamic firefights.
Beyond the refined combat, "Burden of Truth" introduces exciting new weapons and gear. Warlords of New York DLC and Year 1 Pass owners enjoy a significant inventory upgrade with 50 extra slots. Highlights include the exotic Oxpecker SMG and tactical Exodus gloves. Two new gear brands, Refactor and Shiny Monkey, offer innovative options, alongside unique named weapons like the Rusty Classic RPK-74 and Goalie FAL, each boasting distinct talents to customize player builds. Available across all platforms, Ubisoft welcomes player feedback to shape future updates.
