Ultimate Chicken Horse Launches on Mobile Devices
The wildly chaotic party platformer Ultimate Chicken Horse, originally launched by Clever Endeavour Games in 2016, has made its mobile debut through Noodlecake. Now you can experience this unpredictable game where players scream in frustration at their own sabotaging traps while laughing hysterically.
In Ultimate Chicken Horse, Betrayal Is Part of the Fun
This competitive platformer pits you against up to three friends in a race to the finish line—with a twist. Players select quirky animal avatars like chickens, horses, sheep, or raccoons while collaboratively shaping the level in real-time.
The madness unfolds between jumps. Each round starts with participants strategically placing deadly traps or helpful platforms across the stage. Successfully reaching the goal while your opponents fail awards you points—but if everyone finishes (or nobody does), the round ends in hilarious stalemates.
Game Features & Mechanics
With 17 diverse levels, Ultimate Chicken Horse offers mechanical hazards, interactive objects, and custom level creation. The powerful editor lets you craft devious stages using various traps and platforms, with the option to share creations or download others' designs.
While Challenge Mode provides single-player content, unlocking characters and stages requires multiplayer sessions—especially in Party Mode.
From Game Jam to Mobile Release
The concept originated from a game jam combining "Modular," "Phrase," and "The Ultimate ___" themes. Early prototypes resembled Scribblenauts with letter-based platforms, but development shifted toward tight platforming inspired by Super Meat Boy's precise controls.
Now available on mobile, Ultimate Chicken Horse delivers chaotic fun for impromptu gaming sessions. The core strategy remains: sabotage friends just enough to hinder them without dooming yourself in the process.
The mobile version supports online and local multiplayer with shared controller options. A free demo is available, with a one-time purchase unlocking the full experience. Download it now from the Google Play Store.
