As the Capcom Pro Tour takes a brief hiatus, we now have a complete lineup of the 48 participants set to compete in Capcom Cup 11. While the focus is often on the world's top players, let's shift our attention to the characters they've chosen to master in Street Fighter 6.
Following the conclusion of the World Warrior circuit, EventHubs has provided insightful statistics on the most favored Street Fighter 6 characters at the elite level. These figures offer a precise snapshot of the game's current balance. Remarkably, all 24 characters in the roster have been represented, despite only one player out of nearly two hundred choosing Ryu. Even the latest addition, Terry Bogard, found favor with two players.
Currently, the most popular characters on the professional circuit are Cammy, Ken, and M. Bison, each selected as the main character by 17 players. Following them, there's a significant gap before we see the next tier, which includes Akuma (chosen by 12 players), Ed and Luke (both with 11 players), and JP and Chun-Li (each with 10 players). Among the less popular choices, Zangief, Guile, and Juri stand out, as they were the main picks for seven players each.
Capcom Cup 11 is scheduled to take place in Tokyo this March, with the winner set to claim a staggering prize of one million dollars. This event promises to be a thrilling showcase of skill and strategy, as players from around the globe vie for supremacy with their chosen fighters.
