If you've been watching Scandinavian photo-puzzler Toem: A Photo Adventure closely, we have exciting news. You can soon buy Toem on iOS and Android when it arrives on October 22nd, complete with a playable demo to try before committing.

Toem is deceptively simple in its design. You control a humble little creature embarking on a journey from home in search of the elusive feeling known as Toem. Along your travels, you snap pictures to show your nana upon your return and use them to solve various puzzles.

If our recent coverage is any indication, we've already highlighted Toem in Ahead of the Game. It certainly made an impression with its stunning black-and-white visuals, heartwarming narrative, and a simple yet satisfying gameplay loop that emphasizes photography.

Can You Feel It in the Air?

You might initially assume the monochrome aesthetic of Toem signals a serious emotional journey. However, it offers something that is both heartfelt and light-hearted, filled with whimsy.

Catherine's preview also showed that Toem holds its own against top Android puzzlers. The seemingly straightforward tasks require you to get creative with your snapshots, challenging even the most logical players to think outside the box.
