Ticket to Ride launches new Switzerland expansion

Switzerland and its neighboring countries are now part of the Ticket to Ride experience! This new Switzerland expansion introduces both country-to-country and city-to-country routes to the digital strategy board game, adding exciting new possibilities for building your railroad empire. Expand your network through Switzerland and its surrounding nations, charting a course to victory.

The expansion also brings two new characters and four new tokens, making it the perfect holiday gift for Ticket to Ride fans. Developed by Marmalade, this update isn't just about new locations; it introduces fresh mechanics that demand strategic re-evaluation. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, the Switzerland expansion offers a dynamic and engaging gameplay experience.

Country-to-country tickets challenge you to connect one nation to another, presenting multiple options and varying point values. For example, you might choose between connecting France to Germany, Italy, or Austria, each offering a different reward for completion. Similarly, city-to-country tickets require connecting a specific city to a country. Strategic planning is key, as each country has a limited number of available nodes.

Successfully completing routes earns points based on the highest-scoring connection for each ticket. However, failing to connect any routes results in a point deduction based on the ticket's lowest value.
