Summer is here in The Sims! The Make a Splash update launches the broader Summer Vacation Series in The Sims Freeplay. This first chapter is all about celebrating the best of the season.
From street festivals and sunny pool days to backyard barbecues!
The festivities begin with Make a Splash, guiding you through vacation getaways. Rocky Heights has also grown. Players who finished Rustic Acres can now explore Breezy Fields, a new neighborhood inspired by Dutch flower fields and wide-open spaces.
Breezy Fields includes four new house lots, a landmark, and plenty of rewards like a decorative tractor. You might need to repair the road before you can drive in, however.
SimTown is also celebrating Pride 2025. During this update, you'll get two free inbox gifts—one early in the month and another later. Rainbow crosswalks now brighten the SimTown map, and a new Craft Challenge invites residents to create vibrant decorations for the big party.
Explore the Packed Event Schedule!
First, the Influence Island: Currency Heist event has you tracking burglars stealing from local businesses. The prize is a massive one million Simoleons, plus Life Points and Social Points.
The Craft Challenge – SimTown Pride Party is another highlight. Help bring the Pride festivities to life by crafting colorful, joyful displays.
Next, Influence Island – Pool’s Out For Summer?! introduces some drama. Nancy Landgraab plans to demolish the town's beloved pool for a multi-story car park. A team of wealthy investors lounging on a nearby beach must step in to save it.
