Silent Hill Transmission Set for March 13, 2025
Two years after its initial reveal, Silent Hill f is stepping out of the shadows. Konami announced via their official Silent Hill Twitter (X) account on March 11th that the SILENT HILL Transmission will air on March 13th, 2025, at 3:00 PM PDT. The livestream promises new information about Silent Hill f, ending the extended period of silence surrounding the game.

It's worth noting that despite the silence, Silent Hill f did receive a "19+" rating from the South Korea Game Rating Administration Committee (GRAC) in January 2025.
Silent Hill f: Initially Unveiled in 2022

The initial announcement of Silent Hill f came during the Silent Hill Transmission on October 19, 2022. The accompanying trailer showcased the game's captivating aesthetic and unsettling atmosphere. Set in 1960s Japan, the narrative is penned by renowned visual novelist Ryukishi07, celebrated for his work on psychological horror titles like Higurashi: When They Cry.
Motoi Okamoto, Lead Producer of the Silent Hill series, personally selected Shirogumi, a prominent Japanese VFX and animation studio, to craft the teaser trailer. In a 2023 interview with CGWorld, Shirogumi Director Hirohiro Komori discussed their approach, emphasizing the uniquely Japanese blend of beauty and horror. They meticulously detailed their commitment to realism, stating that "Even the smallest details are modeled in a rich and realistic manner."
