SEGA’s Party Royale Title Sonic Rumble Launches Globally on Android

Sonic Rumble is now live on mobile and PC. SEGA’s newest party royale game invites up to 32 players to battle for supremacy. Rovio, known for Angry Birds, partnered with SEGA on its global marketing campaign.

The launch of Sonic Rumble comes after months of excitement. The game first entered closed beta testing in the US in May 2024, followed by a phased soft launch from June 2024 through July 2025. Now, it’s officially available worldwide.

Step into Dr. Eggman’s strange Toy World!

You’re dropped straight into Dr. Eggman’s whimsical Toy World, where tiny versions of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and friends clash across treacherous obstacle courses and intense arenas. Your mission: gather the most Rings and earn the title of ultimate Rumbler.

Dash, spin, and tumble through legendary Sonic locales like Green Hill Zone and Sky Sanctuary, mastering new moves to outwit Dr. Eggman’s traps.

Unlock and customize toy versions of beloved characters—including Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Shadow, and Dr. Eggman—each with unique skins, animations, emotes, and visual effects.

SEGA has bigger ambitions for Sonic Rumble!

They’ve confirmed that future crossover events will introduce guest characters from other SEGA franchises. Upcoming updates will add new stages, a competitive Top League in the Rumble Rankings, and the BioLizard in co-op battles.
