Ubisoft's unannounced game, Project U, continues to be plagued by leaks. Initial gameplay footage emerged in 2022 following closed beta testing, resurfacing two years later, hinting at ongoing development. Recently, an introductory cinematic has leaked online, further fueling speculation.
The cinematic's authenticity remains unverified, shared by gaming content leaker Shaun Weber, who suggests more leaks may follow if development continues.
Project U is anticipated to be a session-based co-op shooter, reportedly inspired by Helldivers 2. The leaked footage depicts an alien invasion of Earth, with players assuming the roles of resistance fighters combating this extraterrestrial threat.
Ubisoft has yet to officially announce Project U or provide a release date.
