Pokémon Unite Welcomes Three New Challengers
The game's expanding its roster with Empoleon arriving September 19th, followed by Dhelmise and Vaporeon later this season.
A Mastermind's MAD Creation
Whoever envisioned transforming Pokémon into a MOBA was either brilliantly unhinged or unhingedly brilliant. Despite initial skepticism, Pokémon Unite has captured players' hearts worldwide - and its battlefield is about to get more crowded!
Staggered Arrivals
The newcomers won't debut simultaneously:
- Empoleon splashes in first on September 19th
- Dhelmise and Vaporeon follow later
- Meanwhile, Groudon begins haunting Theia Sky Ruins starting September 4th
Defeating the legendary Groudon grants special buffs - with an added twist: eliminating a buffed opponent transfers their enhancement to your team!
The MOBA-Pokémon Hybrid
While the new fighters' arrivals feel distant, they promise fresh strategies for both casual and competitive players. Pokémon Unite successfully blends MOBA mechanics with beloved Pokémon traits - and Groudon's appearance suggests more legendaries may soon terrorize jungle lanes.
