Pokémon TCG Pocket Reveals Sea and Sky Expansion

Pokémon TCG Pocket's latest major expansion, Wisdom of Sea and Sky, arrives on July 30th, ending the break since the previous release. This update brings both the debut of significant new Pokémon and several key feature adjustments.

Wisdom of Sea and Sky primarily showcases Pokémon from the Johto region, familiar to players of Pokémon Gold & Silver. Fan favorites include the starter Pokémon Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile, along with the legendary Lugia and Ho-Oh.

A notable gameplay change involves new Pokémon that can use attacks without requiring energy, enabling players to experiment with fresh deck strategies. Additionally, substantial updates to the trading system are on the horizon.

Between the sea and the sky

Launching alongside the expansion, TCG Pocket introduces the new Wishlist feature and other previously announced trade improvements. The Wishlist allows players to indicate which cards they want to trade for. Add desired cards through the My Cards screen—select up to 20 and highlight three to showcase on your profile.

Trade Tokens will be discontinued and no longer required for card exchanges. However, Shinedust remains necessary for trading certain rarities, obtainable through missions, achievements, or duplicate cards. Players can exchange any remaining Trade Tokens in the shop until July 30th, after which they become inactive.
