Similar to Hazelight's previous games, Split Fiction heavily emphasizes cooperative gameplay, either online or via local couch co-op. Unfortunately, solo play isn't an option. There's no AI companion to assist, and even with multiple controllers, the game's precise timing and coordination make solo progression virtually impossible.
However, finding a partner is easy thanks to the Friend's Pass. This feature supports both local and online co-op and boasts cross-platform compatibility. PlayStation, Xbox, and PC players can team up, provided one person owns Split Fiction.

- Send a game invite to your friend.
- Enjoy the game together!
Cross-platform play works across PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Steam, Epic Games Store, and the EA app. Even your EA Friends list can be used to send invites.
