Overwatch 2 Teams Up with LE SSERAFIM Again: New Skins, Emotes, Challenges

Overwatch 2 is set to dazzle fans once again with a vibrant collaboration with the K-pop sensation LE SSERAFIM. This exciting partnership is scheduled to kick off on March 18, 2025, coinciding with the release of LE SSERAFIM's eagerly anticipated new album, "Hot." Players can look forward to a host of new skins, emotes, and engaging in-game challenges during this event.

Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM Coming This March 18, 2025

Following their successful collaboration in November 2023, which celebrated LE SSERAFIM's hit song "Perfect Night," Overwatch 2 is gearing up for another thrilling event. On March 11, a captivating trailer was unveiled on Twitter (X), officially announcing the upcoming festivities. Blizzard had previously teased this second collaboration during the Overwatch 2 Spotlight on February 12, much to the excitement of fans worldwide.

The event will introduce stunning new skins for characters such as Mercy, Juno, D.Va, Ashe, and Illari. Additionally, recolored versions of skins from the 2023 event will be available for purchase, featuring LE SSERAFIM-themed looks for Kiriko, D.Va, Sombra, Tracer, and Brigitte. While the unique Concert Clash mode from the previous event won't be making a comeback, players will have the opportunity to earn the Legendary Fawksey James Junkrat skin by participating in event-specific challenges.

In an insightful interview with Polygon on March 11, Aimee Denett, Overwatch's Associate Director of Product Management, shared the team's enthusiasm for this collaboration. "This time around, we wanted to be part of one of the pieces that’s celebrating their new album," Denett explained. She also highlighted the inclusion of a visualizer for one of the new songs from the album, alongside an array of extensive cosmetics tailored for this event, as a nod to celebrating K-pop culture.

Mark your calendars for the Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM collaboration, running from March 18 to March 31, 2025. Prior to the event, fans can tune into the Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM Livestream Event on March 17, 2025, at 8:30 PM PST, available on Twitch and YouTube.
