NetEase has announced the end-of-service (EOS) for their popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile. After a four-year run since its global Android launch, the game will officially shut down. The PC and console versions remain unaffected.
For the uninitiated, Dead by Daylight Mobile is a thrilling 4v1 survival horror game, a mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's acclaimed title. While the original launched on PC in June 2016, the mobile version debuted in April 2020.
Dead by Daylight Mobile pits Killers against Survivors in a heart-pounding game of cat and mouse. Players can choose to stalk and sacrifice Survivors as a Killer, or fight for survival as a Survivor attempting to evade capture.
Dead by Daylight Mobile Shutdown Date:
The official EOS date is March 20th, 2025. The game will remain available for download on app stores until January 16th, 2025.
Existing players can continue enjoying the game until the final shutdown on March 20th. NetEase will provide details regarding refunds, adhering to regional regulations, on January 16th, 2025.
Players seeking to continue their Dead by Daylight experience can transition to the PC or console versions. A special welcome package awaits those making the switch, along with loyalty rewards for existing mobile players based on in-game spending and XP earned.
