Destiny: Rising has arrived on Android, bringing the vast Destiny universe to mobile devices for the very first time. Destiny is an online, multiplayer first-person shooter series created by Bungie, with the original title debuting in September 2014.
What does Destiny: Rising bring to mobile?
Core experiences like six-player Raids and three-player Strikes make the jump to mobile. The developers have enriched this foundation with new roguelike challenges and PvPvE combat modes. Social activities, including Sparrow Racing, Clan Housing, and Fishing, offer additional ways to engage with the community.
Published by NetEase Games, Destiny: Rising allows players to toggle between first-person and third-person views. It also features a flexible arsenal system where weapons can be shared across different characters.
The adventure begins with the Season 0 Week One Gauntlet event, which grants special emblems and community rewards. Following this, the global Season 1 Week One event starts, placing all players worldwide on an equal footing to compete for leaderboard prizes.
Destiny: Rising explores a new chapter in the lore, delving into an alternate timeline set long before the original game. This era chronicles the rise of the Iron Lords during the Dark Age, a beacon of hope for humanity. Players become new Lightbearers, resurrected by Ghosts to confront alien dangers and reclaim humanity's destiny among the stars.
You assume the role of the Wolf, a customizable Lightbearer wielding a Relic that grants access to unique abilities and Super Abilities. For variety, you can also take control of legendary Destiny characters like Ikora Rey and Iron Lord Jolder.
