After writing, the miners will attempt to kill you, but you can use a Speech check to persuade them to spare you.

Next, you'll need to visit the shaft owner's house. Speak with the bodyguard to gain access and deliver the letter to Markold upstairs. At this juncture, you can choose to blackmail Markold, hand over the letter, or collaborate with him to eliminate the miners. Blackmailing is not recommended due to the challenging Speech check and immediate quest end.

Opting to help Markold requires you to kill three miners and nets you only 60 groschen, which is the least favorable outcome. Instead, siding with the miners is the better choice. Deliver the letter to Markold as planned, and he'll give you seven groschen, instructing you to meet some miners just north of the city.

Head to the designated location, wait for the miners, and proceed to their camp to speak with Myslibor. When Markold attacks, assist the miners in defeating him. Upon completion, speak with Myslibor to receive 160 groschen and the satisfaction of helping the miners improve their working conditions.
