Developed originally by Grasshopper Manufacture (known for titles like No More Heroes), Lollipop Chainsaw is a vibrant action-hack-and-slash game. Players assume the role of Juliet Starling, a chainsaw-wielding cheerleader battling a zombie horde. While the original developers didn't helm the remaster, Dragami Games delivered a visually enhanced experience with improved quality-of-life features.

The remaster, launched in September 2024, has now achieved over 200,000 sales across all platforms (current and last-gen consoles, plus PC). This milestone was announced by Dragami Games via a celebratory tweet.

The original 2012 release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 achieved even greater success, reportedly selling over one million copies. This initial popularity can be attributed to the unique collaboration between renowned game designer Goichi Suda and James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy director), who contributed to the game's compelling narrative.
