Monster Hunter Wilds Lightcrystal Farming Locations
Lightcrystals are found by mining Mining Outcrops scattered throughout *Monster Hunter Wilds*. The drop rate is somewhat random, so be patient! Here are the areas with the highest concentration of these valuable outcrops:
- Windward Plains: Areas 1, 2, 3, 7, 9, 10, 17
- Oilwell Basin: Areas 4, 6, 7
- Iceshard Cliffs: Areas 8, 16
- Ruins of Wyveria: Area 5
After mining, Mining Outcrops take approximately 15-20 minutes to respawn. Use this time to explore other areas and gather other resources before returning.
How to Use Lightcrystals
Once you've amassed a sufficient supply of Lightcrystals, head back to Gemma at Base Camp. She'll use them to forge or upgrade your equipment. Here's a list of items requiring Lightcrystals:
