Karl Urban Debuts as Johnny Cage in Mortal Kombat 2

The iconic character will be brought to life by Karl Urban, known for his roles in The Boys and Judge Dredd. Ed Boon, co-creator of Mortal Kombat, teased fans with a striking poster of Urban as Johnny Cage, designed to mimic a promotional poster for a fictional Johnny Cage movie. The poster features two motorcycles dramatically leaping out of flames, capturing the over-the-top essence of the character.

Mortal Kombat 2 continues the story from the 2021 reboot, which introduced audiences to Cole Young, played by Lewis Tan, and showcased the intense rivalry between Scorpion, portrayed by Hiroyuki Sanada, and Sub-Zero, brought to life by Joe Taslim.
