Heroes of History Is Celebrating Its First Birthday with Tons of New Events

InnoGames, the developer and publisher behind Heroes of History, is marking its first anniversary by launching a series of engaging events and generous gifts. The Hamburg-based studio has built a strong reputation for titles such as Forge of Empires, Elvenar, and Tribal Wars.

Following its global launch on September 26th, 2024, this city-building and hero-collection title has attracted over two million registered players. Throughout the past year, the game has introduced 17 new features and modes, hosted 114 in-game events, and added 28 distinct heroes to the roster.

What Can Players Expect During the Heroes of History First Birthday?

The anniversary celebrations began with pre-event activities, including a new Anniversary Countdown structured as a milestone-based challenge. Additionally, players can take advantage of a week-long series of 24-hour Hero Rate-Up promotions. These boosts increase the odds of summoning iconic figures such as Albert Einstein, Marie Curie, Dracula, Joan of Arc, Achilles, Medusa, and William Wallace.

From September 26th to September 29th, players can enjoy a Legendary and Double Rate-Up weekend. The development team has also introduced anniversary discounts and complimentary gifts available until October 6th.

A fun personality quiz titled Discover Your Inner Legend is also available, allowing users to determine which hero aligns best with their character traits. You can take the test here.

The main anniversary season will run from September 24th through October 21st, 2025. This period brings back all seasonal heroes released in 2025, enabling players to recruit figures like Amelia Earhart, Blackbeard, Mozart, and others.

Concurrently, the Summon of the Stars leaderboard event will take place from September 24th to 29th.

The Heroes of History first birthday update also includes visual enhancements. The team has unveiled a new anniversary logo, an updated loading screen, and five Meet the Team videos that offer insights into the developers behind the game.
