Embark on the side quest "Hush, My Darling" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, which you can pick up from Miskowitz in the Kuttenberg Region, just west of Kuttenberg City. This quest will put your blacksmithing skills to the test as you help unravel a local mystery.

How to Finish "Hush, My Darling" in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Speak with Martha

Head to Miskowitz, a small village southeast of the forge, and find Martha in the house connected to it. Engage her in conversation and ask if she needs help. When she mentions needing someone skilled in blacksmithing, respond with "I’m a blacksmith! I’d be glad to help" to initiate the "Hush, My Darling" quest.

If you're still working on other quests, you might want to speak with the bailiff about Matthew from the Dry Devil's group. Conveniently, the bailiff is standing right next to Martha, making it easy to locate her.

Craft Horseshoes

You may already have the necessary items for this quest. You need two Farmer’s Horseshoes, which you could have crafted earlier while leveling your blacksmithing skills. If not, gather two pieces of Scrap Metal and head to the forge to craft them. Once you have the horseshoes, return to Martha.

Find Victoria

Martha will instruct you to deliver the horseshoes to Victoria, who lives south of the forge. Upon arriving at her house and opening the first door on the left, you'll find blood instead of Victoria. Investigate the blood by interacting with it when prompted during "Hush, My Darling" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. Return to Martha and report your findings. She'll suggest you search for Victoria at Sigismund’s camp.

Sigismund’s Camp

Located south of Opatowitz, Sigismund’s camp is your next destination. If you're also tracking Matthew for the Dry Devil quest, you might encounter him on the path to the camp. At the camp, find the blacksmith and inquire about Victoria. He'll mention that a soldier named Black took an interest in her. To locate Black, head to the infirmary tent, where he's currently ill.

Black will request medicine before he helps you. Provide him with a Digestive Potion to treat his food poisoning. If you don't have one, craft it and return to administer it. Wait a couple of hours for the potion to take effect before he'll share information about Victoria. He'll reveal that she might have gone into the woods to the east. Follow the quest marker to find her sitting on a stump.

Victoria is understandably upset. Engage her in conversation and choose your dialogue options. Note that these choices won't affect later events. If you made Black promise to look after Victoria, you can relay this to her, offering her some comfort and hope for the future.

Completing this conversation will conclude the "Hush, My Darling" quest in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. You can then decide to continue with the main quests or explore other side quests like "In Vino Veritas."
