What Recharge Drones Do

In R.E.P.O., items like Mines and Grenades are single-use, found at the Service Station. However, other items, including weapons and drones, feature a "battery life" that can be restored using Energy Crystals. As you start your journey, you'll spot a container in your truck that's key for charging these items, albeit at the cost of one Energy Crystal per charge.

When you buy additional Energy Crystals, they seamlessly integrate into the container, eliminating any concerns about their disappearance post-purchase. To recharge an item, simply place it in the yellow bucket adjacent to the container, and watch as it regains its vigor. This process is essential for maintaining your gear's readiness to face the horrors of the next level.

However, the intensity of some levels can lead to rapid item degradation, and you might not always be near your truck to recharge. That's where the Recharge Drone comes into play, allowing you to manage your items' energy on the move.

How to Get and Use the Recharge Drone in R.E.P.O.

The Recharge Drone, like all items and upgrades, becomes available at the Service Station, accessible after successfully completing a level. This is your chance to gear up for the challenges ahead, provided you have the funds.

Since items at the Service Station appear randomly, it might take a few visits before you encounter the Recharge Drone. Once it does appear, it's priced between $4-5K and will occupy one of your inventory slots. Choose to assign it to slot 1, 2, or 3 upon purchase.

Monitor your items' health via the battery bar beneath them. To use the Recharge Drone, select it, press 'E' to activate, and then attach your depleted item. Let the drone work its magic until it runs out of power, at which point you can recharge it back at the truck using Energy Crystals in the container.
