Goat Simulator's Goat Direct showcase, known for its irreverent humor, took a surprisingly serious turn with fewer practical jokes than fans might have expected. Instead, the event focused on unveiling new merchandise, including plushies and a CRKD controller line, alongside a sneak peek at an upcoming card game. However, the highlight for many was the announcement that the Goat Simulator 3 expansion pack, Multiverse of Nonsense, is set to hit mobile devices soon. While an exact release date remains under wraps, more details are expected to be released shortly.
As the name suggests, Multiverse of Nonsense will transport players into a parallel universe, where they'll encounter bizarre locales such as a cartoon-themed town, a city populated entirely by goats, and a mythical mountaintop. This expansion promises to maintain the series' tradition of wild and wacky adventures.

In addition to the mobile expansion, Coffee Stain North celebrated April Fool's Day with a new, free update for Goat Simulator 3. This 10th-anniversary update adds 27 new pieces of gear, two new events in San Angora, and a new alternative goat skin inspired by the upcoming Pilgor plushie, set to launch later this year.
The subdued approach to humor in the Goat Direct might be seen as fitting. Given the series' history of absurd additions, adding more fictional elements might have risked frustrating fans eagerly awaiting real content.
