As the chill of early spring lingers in the UK and elsewhere, Genshin Impact is set to bring some much-needed warmth with its upcoming 5.5 update, aptly named "Day of the Flame's Return," launching on March 26th. This update promises to turn up the heat with the introduction of the Great Volcano of Tollan in Natlan, a region that's about to get a lot more exciting.
Explorers will finally gain access to the Sacred City of Tollan, a marvel crafted by the Dragonborn, hidden deep within the volcano. As you delve into its mysteries, you'll uncover the secrets of the Flamelord's Blessing, adding a thrilling narrative layer to your adventures.
But it's not just about the lava and magma. The 5.5 update introduces the last tribe of Natlan, the Tribe of Plenty, and a formidable new Saurian species, the Tatankasaurus. This beast has the sheer power to shatter massive rocks, promising new challenges and gameplay mechanics.

Heating up - Navigating the perilous volcano won't be a solo endeavor. The update brings two new characters to aid you: Varessa, a five-star Electro Catalyst user capable of dealing massive Electro damage, and Iansan, a four-star Electro Polearm wielder and one of Natlan's six heroes. Iansan not only boosts attack damage but also heals her allies, making her a versatile addition to any team.
Alongside these fiery additions, the "Tournament of Glory in Bloom" seasonal event, new Event Wishes, and more are set to debut on March 26th. So, gear up and get ready to dive back into Natlan with Genshin Impact's version 5.5.
