In Freedom Wars Remastered, every action you take is a step towards reducing your initial one million-year sentence for the crime of simply being born. As you work to shorten your prison sentence, you're also focused on increasing your CODE level, which significantly enhances your life as a sinner.
Your CODE level unlocks various Entitlements that simplify gameplay, allowing you to run longer or upgrade your comrades and gear to better combat Abductors. Progressing through these CODE levels is a key part of your journey; here's a breakdown of how many levels there are.
How Many CODE Levels Are In Freedom Wars Remastered
There are a total of eight CODE levels in Freedom Wars Remastered. Once you upgrade, there's no going back, so you don't need to worry about inadvertently increasing your sentence beyond the necessary level, especially in Deadly Sinner Mode. Each time you advance your CODE level, you gain access to more Entitlements and additional operations to tackle.
How To Increase Your CODE Level In Freedom Wars Remastered
To check how to upgrade your CODE level, simply talk to your Accessory in your cell and select "Check CODE Upgrade Conditions". Typically, you'll need to reach a specific year milestone in your prison sentence and unlock certain Entitlements. Always review this menu before spending your Entitlement Points on less critical upgrades, or you might need to donate resources to earn more.
Donating just one high-end resource or weapon can often provide enough points to unlock numerous Entitlements.
To rank up your CODE level, you must fulfill all the listed conditions, which are closely linked to the main storyline. Completing main story missions and operations is essential for passing the CODE exam, which is integrated into the narrative. Sometimes, the main story missions serve as a substitute for the CODE exam, helping you reach the next level.
Operations are also categorized by CODE levels, indicating their difficulty. Most operations will be completed as you advance through the story of each CODE level, but occasionally, optional operations become available after progression, aiding those who might not be fully ready for the challenges of their new CODE level.
