Fortnite Adds Darth Jar Jar, Star Wars Battle Pass in Galactic Season

Fortnite is gearing up to celebrate Star Wars in a spectacular fashion with its upcoming season, Galactic Battle, set to launch on May 2, 2025. This season promises to immerse players in a Star Wars-themed Battle Pass and a thrilling five-part saga brimming with surprises. One of the most exciting announcements is the introduction of Darth Jar Jar to the Battle Royale, a twist that fans never saw coming. This incredible news was revealed at Star Wars Celebration, where we also caught a glimpse of the additional Star Wars-themed content coming our way, including the addition of Force Lightning as an in-game ability.

Further details confirmed at the event include Emperor Palpatine and unique mashups like Wookiee Cuddle Team Leader featured in the Battle Pass. The Item Shop will offer new skins such as Mace Windu, and players will have the chance to pilot and co-pilot X-Wings and TIE Fighters. Themed map locations will also enhance the immersive Star Wars experience. The season's saga will unfold weekly, each with a distinct theme:

• Imperial Takeover – May 2, 2025
• The Pull of the Force – May 8, 2025
• Mandalorian Rising – May 22, 2025
• Star Destroyer Bombardment – May 29, 2025
• Death Star Sabotage – June 7, 2025

This saga will reach its climax with an in-game narrative live event, leaving players feeling as if they hold the fate of the entire galaxy in their hands.
